From the Islands to the Snow

Mid-November 2024. A group of students from Seychelles traded tropical warmth for Moscow’s first frost — new coats, wide eyes, breath turning to mist.

At a local university, they sat down with Russian students and swapped ideas about marine science, climate, and life on opposite sides of the world. Ladob met borshch. Laughter needed no translation.
